Our keynote session featured a speech from The Rt Hon Lord Deben. Having served as chairman of the UK's independent Climate Change Committee, Lord Deben offered a candid and first hand experience of the present and future political dynamics that will impact your business.

Founder Member Dinner
The first event concluded with a special dinner where members enjoyed a keynote address by The Rt. Hon Gordon Brown, who set out his views on the direction of travel in UK energy policy, the implications for the North Sea industry moving forward.
Having set the UK on the path to net zero — and having led climate change talks at COP conferences with the likes of Barack Obama — Mr Brown offered a unique insight on how policy has been shaped to date. The former Prime Minister. He also shared his views on how energy policy could develop in the event of Sir Keir Starmer winning a 2024 general election.
